BOAT
A vague term loosely applied to a vessel of any type, form or construction considered too small to be a ship.Such vessels vary considerably in construction and form, and are used for a variety of purposes. The term is generally applied to undecked vessels, and has connotations of unseaworthiness, unsuitability for independent operation, portability and/or unsophisticated construction.
