FRIENDS MEETING HOUSE A place of worship for members of the Society of Friends, a denomination founded by George Fox in c.1650 who believed in passivist principles and a rejection of the sacrament.
HALL A large building or room used for a specific function. If not domestic, use specific term, e.g. VILLAGE HALL.
MEETING PLACE A building or open space where people assemble or gather.
