This ploughed-down scooped settlement is situated on a W-facing slope about 210m NE of Linnhall steading (NY28SW 83). Roughly circular on plan, the interior measures about 34m in diameter and is defined on the W by a scarp up to 2.5m high, and elsewhere by a bank which has been reduced by cultivation to a low mound measuring up to 3m in thickness and 0.3m in height.
