This ploughed-down scooped settlement is situated on a W-facing slope about 210m NE of Linnhall steading (NY28SW 83). Roughly circular on plan, the interior measures about 34m in diameter and is defined on the W by a scarp up to 2.5m high, and elsewhere by a bank which has been reduced by cultivation to a low mound measuring up to 3m in thickness and 0.3m in height. This bank is partly overlain by an old field boundary. On the date of visit the position of the entrance was not identified and no internal features were noted.
