Note (1988)

Whippielaw 2 NT 3967 6377 NT36SE 38

Cropmarks reveal two enclosures on the line of the NE side of the larger of the N Roman temporary camps NT36SE 3 & 17 to the W of the Send of Pathhead village. One is subrectangular, measuring a maximum of 30m across the interior, and its entrance is probably on the SE. On the W it overlaps the second enclosure, which measures about 60m by 50m within its ditch.
