(Location cited as NS 920 823). Shipyard, Grangemouth, late 18th to early 19th century. Reputedly the birthplace of the Charlotte Dundas, the first technically successful steamship in Britain. The present buildings are mainly of late 19th to early 20th century date, but include a three-storey and attic stone warehouse and quay built in the late 18th century by Carron Co.
