It incorporated a warehouse and quay built by Carron Company for storage of their products before shipment. Most of the equipment in 1974 was 20th century. This view shows the smithy, with a steam hammer. This yard built small and medium-sized ships, but also prepared parts for the company's ship repair business in Grangemouth Docks.
