NO24SE 33.2 2873 4460.

An octagonal font was found when the body of the old church was taken down. It was placed on a pedestal in the Manse garden. (Manse at NO 2872 4445 on O S 25-inch map)

Activities

Field Visit (19 April 1989)

The font that was recovered from the debris of the old church is now set on a new base in the S vestibule of the present building. It is octagonal, and each face bears a bas relief connected with Christ's Passion.
