The site of a cairn near the burial ground E. of Mute Hill where a cross is alleged to have been erected in pre-Reformation times.

Field Visit (11 October 1973)
According to Mr Bell (F R Bell, Caputh Manse) this cross was the second of twelve penitence crosses from Dunkeld to Brechin. The area is now under cultivation and there is no trace of the cross or cairn.
At NO 0839 4002, built into the W face of the wall on the E side of the entrance to the manse NO03NE 22 are several dressed stones, one with an incised Greek cross (5 cms x 5 cms) and two with masons' marks, possibly from the old church (NO04SE 10).
