A Glen Lyon-type homestead surmounting a low wooded knoll overlooking good agricultural land. Near circular on plan, it measures 24.5m E-W by 25.0m N-S overall. The outer wall face can be seen for much of the periphery, and occasional inner facing stones protruding through the turf give a wall thickness of 4.3m in the N, 5.0m in the W, and 4.5m in the S. The mutilated entrance is in the E. From its N side a turf-covered bank, possibly contemporary, curves to the E for 10.0m.
