Accessing Scotland's Past Project

The dovecot that once stood in the grounds of Stichill House is not depicted on recent maps, indicating that it no longer forms a prominent feature in the landscape.

Earlier maps, including the first edition of the Ordnance Survey 6-inch map of Berwickshire (1859), show that the dovecot was of cylindrical construction and that it lay a short distance from the driveway.
