Accessing Scotland's Past Project

Probably dating from the early nineteenth century, No 11 Woodmarket occupies the angle between two tenement buildings, and presents a bow-fronted or curving facade to the street, maintaining the unbroken run of shop fronts. The building stands three storeys in height, and has an attic lit by a single dormer window. On the ground floor, the shop front features a row of pilasters, and the upper floors of the tenement have been smooth-rendered.
