NT86SE 62.01 87730 62019

This intermediate station on the Berwick-on-Tweed - Edinburgh (North British Rly.) portion of the London-Edinburgh 'East Coast main line' was also the junction station for that company's branch line to Duns, Greenlaw and St Boswells. It was opened on 22 June 1846 and closed to regular passenger traffic on 4 May 1964. The main line remains in use.
