The Red Kirk site is a fenced-off corner of a pasture field on the hillside above Longhope. It takes the form of a low shapeless knoll about 25m across, its hollowed centre occupied by the remains of a wooden hen-house, and too thickly covered by dockens and nettles for any foundation to be visible.
