(Location cited as NY 385 783). Canonbie Mill (Hollows Mill), probably early 19th century. A 3-storey and basement rubble building with single-storey additions. The four pairs of stones have been removed but an internal low-breast wooden paddle-wheel about 4 ft (1.2m) wide by 18 ft (5.5m) diameter with steel-reinforced rings and cast-iron axle is still used to drive modern equipment for feeding-stuff preparation.
