2-storey and attic, rectangular-plan house on ground falling to S. Rubble with dressed quoins. Cunningham refers to this as 'The Salmon House' which "takes its name from the fact that on the ceiling of one of the upper rooms there is a salmon in plaster relief". By the beginning of this century it was known as the 'Salmon Fisher's Bothy' (Historic Scotland)
