Italianate villa, c.1870, possibly by Peddie and Kinnear. Built for a retired clergyman.
The house has fine terraced gardens and and was until c. 2000 owned by the Ministry of Defence, housing senior figures in the Royal Air Force in Scotland. Thought to have been a hospital during WWII and the annexe used to house nurses.
