The control or watch tower for Heathhall Airfield, RAF Dumfries, is situated within Dumfries Industrial Estate about 100m NW of the southern arc of large aircraft hangars.

The brick and concrete tower is of three storeys high has a viewing platform.

The tower is now part of the Dumfries and Galloway Aviation Museum.

The building is visible on vertical air photographs (106G/UK 1314, 5034-5035, flown 27 March 1946).
