NO01NW 103 centred 036 176

Air photography (John Dewar 1970) has revealed a large area of rig-and-furrow cultivation on the right bank of the River Earn about 450m NW of Broomhill farmsteading (NO01NW 96).

Information from RCAHMS (JRS), 30 November 1995.

Aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1996) has revealed the cropmarks of two small patches of rig-and-furrow cultivation 150m NW of Broomhill farmsteading (NO01NW 96). One is aligned NNW-SSE and centred on NO c. 0397 1740, the other, located immediately to the N, is aligned WNW-SSE and covers an area about 80m in width (centred on NO c. 0394 1752). These patches lie within the boundaries of a Roman Temporary Camp (NO01NW 1).
