The gorse-covered remains of this narrow and linear stone quarry are situated in pasture to the S of the public road about 350m SW of Greenhill steading (NO02SW 60). It is not depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Perthshire, sheet xcvii, 1866) but was in use at the date of publication of the 2nd edition of the map (Perthshire, sheet xcvii.NW, 1901).
