Note
Two farmsteads and a field-system are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1876, sheet xvii); that to the N (ND 063 561) comprises a two compartment unroofed long building attached to an enclosure which has an internal division, and that to the S (ND 062 559) comprises a two compartment unroofed building with and attached enclosure. The farmsteads are similarly depicted on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1963).
