Hut circle: recorded in June 1994 during a comprehensive survey of Balmacara NTS estate. Full details are lodged with Dualchas, Skye and Lochalsh Museums Service.

Field Visit (May 1994)
A ruinous stone built hut. 15 m in diameter, over walls 1.5 m thick. A narrow door opening faces to the SE. down-slope towards a deeply gullied burn. A small circular stone setting 4 m in overall diameter lies within the circle to the west side. A footpath pass immediately to the cast of the hut circle which lies in birch woodland.

Condition Survey (1998 - 1998)
The slight remains of this large round house are sited west of the footpath that follows the west side of the Coille Mhor Burn gorge, in the birch woodland.
Following SNH approval, some of the trees growing in and immediately around this prehistoric site were removed by NTS in 2003
