Situated in isolated position on rising groung in Kilgraston Road at west end of Grange cemetery. Known as Marchmont St Giles following triple amalgamation with Warrender and West St Giles, 1972. Designed as a memorial to Dr James Robertson (d. 1860), Professor of Ecclesiastical History, University of Edinburgh. Cruciform plan, Gothic style, with highly visible 156-foot spire. Cost #7,500. Clock maintained by City.
