Archaeological Evaluation (18 September 2007 - 22 September 2007)
NJ 0263 5740 An archaeological evaluation required prior to the development of a greenfield site was undertaken from 18–22 September 2007. The evaluation comprised 10% of the proposed development site and 19 trenches covering an area of 4012m² were opened. The evaluation revealed a series of five sets of associated pits, postholes and ditches, all thought to relate to prehistoric settlement. The most significant feature identified contained a ceramic vessel and fragments of associated bone.
