Archaeology Notes

ND24SE 22 2917 4271

A round, heather-covered, stone and peat mound, 10m in diameter and 1m high.

R J Mercer 1980.

This mound was not found on the date of visit. Its reported location lies immediately S of a ride in an area of Camster Forest that was deep-ploughed before planting and is now blanketed with conifers.
