(Location cited as NN 778 017). Springbank Mills (woollen), Dunblane, 1851 and 1884. A large complex of rubble buildings, including a 4-storey, 10-bay block, and a 2-storey and attic, 4-bay by 6-bay building with an ogival-roofed stair tower. A ROBEY cross-compound, drop valve steam engine (no. 43705 of 1927) is standby to a modern GILKES water turbine.
