This settlement is situated on the highest part of a low rise about 80m NNW of Easter Earshaig steading (NT00SW 38) and measures about 34.5m from NW to SE by 29m transversely within a turf-covered stony bank up to 5m thick and 0.6m high. Only a few inner facing-stones are visible and there is an entrance gap on the S. The enclosure is roughly oval on plan but the arc of the NW side is flattened where the bank follows the top edge of a steep-sided stream-gully. Within the interior there are two quarry-scoops and a small robbed cairn.

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS), 10 October 1990.

Listed as settlement.

RCAHMS 1997.
