MY 55. Cairn, 2m diameter, with stones embedded around circumference; flat topped. ?prehistoric.

NMRS, MS/595/10.

A drystone pen and a possible peat-stack stand are situated at the foot of the steep NW flank of Tom a' Mhaide. The larger of the two structures, the possible stack stand, is marked by a low drystone wall barely 0.2m in height and measures 7m from NW to SE by 4m transversely overall (MING03 2). The smaller has a more substantial drystone wall 0.7m in height and measures 2.5m from NW to SE by 1.8m transversely overall. The cairn identified by Branigan and Foster (2000) was not located at the date of survey.
