(ND 1817 6898) Two Bronze Spearheads found AD 1839 (NAT)

OS 6" map, (1970)

Mr W Manson (Castletown) found two bronze spearheads here in 1839, when digging for the treasure which is alleged to have been buried between Hoy Head and Dunnet Head. An abundance of bones, supposed to be human, were also found.

Name Book 1873.

No further information was obtained regarding these finds.
