144 499: Tormsdale (OS 6" map, 1963): a mortared farmhouse ruin of presumed 19th century date with associated footings and enclosures, some of which appear to pre-date the farmhouse.

Visited by OS 16 March 1982.

A township comprising three roofed buildings, one of which is a long building, six unroofed buildings, three of which are long buildings, two enclosures, a sheepfold and some field walls are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1876, sheet xxii). Eight unroofed buildings and four enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1963).
