Archaeology Notes

HP50SW 8 5052 0491.

(HP 5048 04772) Brough (NR) (Site of) Daggers and Darts found 1825-45.

OS 6" map, Shetland, 2nd ed., (1900).

In 1845 two stone darts were found buried in this broch and in 1825 daggers were found.

Name Book 1878

The site is grass-grown and no satisfactory indications of a building can now be seen. Classed as 'Indeterminate Site'.

RCAHMS 1946, visited 1931.

All that remains of this structure is an area of disturbed ground. Unable to classify.
