Earthwork consisting of two conjoined circular depressions each c. 2m in diameter and c. 0.5m deep. Long axis approx. N/S. Slight build up of earth and turf to west. Conjoining bank c. 2m wide. Military.

The two conjoined mounds have the appearance of machine gun emplacements similar to that found elsewhere in Orkney (as at Rerwick Head Battery- HY50SW 10).
