ND 1462 3556. Grave Yard

OS 6" map, Caithness, 1st ed., (1871)

A small enclosure where four men who had died of cholera were interred about 1849. It has not been used since.

Name Book 1871.

A walled enclosure 8.4m square and 1.3m high. Within is a grave slab erected by John and George Sutherland in memory of their mother, their grandmother, a sister and an uncle who all died in the period 14th to 17th November 1849. The cause of death was cholera. There have been no other interments.
