NT 024 348 Members of BMT Young Archaeology Club conducted an arable fieldwalking project which produced large amounts of struck chert, a few flints and a single piece of pitchstone.

NT 023 349 Further fieldwalking by Biggar Museum Young Archaeology Club produced more worked chert and flint. A leaf-shaped arrow made from pitchstone was also found.

NT 023 348 Arable fieldwalking by Biggar Young Archaeology Club produced a quantity of struck chert and flint. This area has produced a large assemblage of such material, some of which may be Mesolithic (see Ward 1994).
