Berriedale Church is a Parliamentary (or Telford) T-plan church built in 1826 by William Davidson to the designs of William Thomson after James Horne of Langwell gifted the land for the building. The church sits within a large graveyard and is built of harled rubble with sandstone dressings and a slate roof. The entrance porch is a later addition. In the late 19th century the interior was refurnished but the original glazing survives. The parish was created quod sacra (functioning for ecclesiastical purposes only) in 1846.
