Archaeology Notes

NG53NE 44 5934 3752

High on the NW slope of Beinn na' Leac above the Fearns to Hallaig track, at a height of 250m above OD is a degraded stone built two cell shieling. The remains are aligned N-S with the larger cell which measures 5m in diameter to the N. The smaller cell measures 2.5m in diameter. The small "creep" between the cells still retains its lintel. An entrance into the larger cell lies on the N.
