Field Visit (12 September 1993)

NR36NE 67 3785 6784.

The remains of two shieling-huts are situated on a terrace on the SE flank of Cnoc an Tighe overlooking Loch Finlaggan. The easternmost of the two measures 7.1m from NW to SE by 5.1m transversely over a turf bank; the other measures 6m from NNW to SSE by 4.5m transversely overall. Both shieling-huts are depicted as unroofed structures on the current edition of the OS 1:10,000 map.
