Field Visit (6 October 1992)

NH63SW 75 6328 3474.

This burnt mound is situated on the banks of the SW side of Loch Ashie. It comprises two mounds separated by a trough, aligned on a NNE to SSW axis, in which there was a flat-slab set upon its edge. The two mounds measure 9m from WNW to ESE by 6m transversely overall, and up to 1.2m in height.
