Field Visit (19 March 1993)

NH63SE 69 6594 3299.

This rectangular building is levelled into a gentle slope to the NW of Dunlichity Church. It measures 10.7m from NE to SW by 3.7m transversely within stone footings which measure 0.7m in thickness and 0.4m in height. The entrance is on the SE, and a bank runs along the NE end. A roofed building is shown in this position on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1874, sheet xxxi).
