In the collection of J W Cursiter, Kirkwall, in 1885 was a knife of black porphyrite with quartz crystals, of a curved shape, polished all over and sharpened to an edge all round; it was found in Delting (parish name: HU 39 68) and measures 5.5 by 1.9 by 0.4 ins.
