Archaeology Notes

NG53NE 22 5890 3910.

Lying on the narrow terrace which lies between the sea and inland cliffs on the east coast of Raasay is a tumbled boulder structure which measures 9m by 4m over walls 0.8m thick. A small annex 3.5m by 2m is attached to one side of the structure. There is evidence for both rig cultivation and peat cutting close by.
