Situated on the W shore of the loch amongst extensive rig cultivation are two very substantial stone and turf enclosures. Enclosure 'A' measures 12m in diameter over walls 2m wide and 'B' measures 11m in diameter over walls 1.5m wide. There are no obvious entrances.

Visited by D Topen 26 March 1991.

R Miket et al 1991; NMRS MS/530.

NG 5838 3933 Iolainn / Hut Circle (Feature 4). The structure is sub-circular, 6m x 8m internally, with stone walls 1.30m thick standing to a maximum height of 0.50m. It is thought to have been a iolainn or, less probably, a hut circle. Site identified during an archaeological survey of the townships of Hallaig and An Leac and the surrounding area.
