Archaeology Notes

NG43SE 15 4913 3090.

On the N side of Loch Sligachan, at a height of 5m OD, are the remains of several shielings. One twin-celled structure overlies the remains of an earlier shieling. The remains of a linear boulder dyked enclosure lie just E of the shielings.
