Archaeology Notes

NG32NW 14 3271 2978.

Lying on the W-facing flank of Preshal Mor close to the Sleadale Burn, at a height of about 70m OD is a ruinous stone built hut circle. The remains measure 10m in external diameter over walls 1m thick. An entrance faces W at which point the walls thicken to over 2m in width. There are traces of lightly built walls within the structure which may or may not be contemporary.

Visited by A Nicolson August 1991.
