Aerial Photographic Interpretation (27 September 2022)
This ring ditch has been recorded as cropmarking on oblique photographs (RCAHMSAP 1991) on level ground 80m W of Newmains Farm Steadings. It measures around 13m in diameter over a ditch about 1m broad. The cropmarks are poorly defined and the NW arc of the ditch is not visible on the aerial photographs. A double pit alignment (NT57NW 96) has been recorded immediately to the E and a roundhouse (NT57NW 38) about 50m to the NW.
