Archaeology Notes

NO11NW 57 1074 1634.

(Location cited as NO 107 163). A stone spindle whorl incised on one side with the design of a Celtic cross was found in Ecclesiamagirdle graveyard (NO11NW 2). The base of the whorl has sheared off. Diameter 31mm, depth 9mm, hole diameter 11mm.

Donated to Perth Museum and Art Gallery: Accession no. 1992.563.
