(Location cited as NJ 637 334). Air photography (AAS/88/12/S24/1-8, 11 and 13-16) has recorded the turf-covered footings of a hut-circle in an area of rough grazing at an altitude of about 235m OD. The situation is on the edge of a S-facing slope above a steep bank to the NW of Colpy.
The hut-circle measures about 7m in diameter internally and is abutted by field dykes which run downslope to the S. A bank or lynchet runs to the E, where it adjoins a second dyke running to the S. Within this area there is a possible platform site as well as stone clearance-heaps measuring about 1m in diameter and 0.4m in height. There is a possible second hut-circle to the E of the first.

(Location amended to NJ 6373 3343, NJ 6378 3346 and NJ 6377 3340). Two hut-circles and a circular house-platform are situated in rough pasture on the SE flank of the Hill of Skares, some 630m NE of Jericho farmsteading (NJ63SW 49). The two hut-circles lie on the leading edge of a terrace, while the platform is dug into another terrace below. The better preserved hut-circle (NJ 6373 3343) measures 8m in diameter within a grass-grown stony bank up to 1.8m in thickness and 0.3m in height. There is a possible entrance on the S, and thick stony banks spring from the hut-circle wall on the NE and SE. Each measures about 25m in length, that on the SE petering out downslope, while the other extends along the leading edge of the terrace towards the second hut-circle, some 35m to the NE. This hut-circle (NJ 6378 3346) measures 6.8m in diameter within a grass-grown bank 1.8m in thickness and 0.2m in height. It has a possible entrance on the S. The platform (NJ 6377 3340), which measures 6m in diameter, has been dug into the slope on the NW and SW to a depth of up to 0.7m, and built up on the SE.
No trace of the field clearance heaps previously reported were noted on the date of visit.
