Warthill House, 17th century, altered 1801, 1850s Mackenzie & Matthews. Began as a low, L-plan harled block with
square corbie-stepped angle turret carried on deep corbel table. Sympathetic 1801 mansion with pedimented dormers forms courtyard; large bays on original block presumably part of extensive 1891 'Elizabethan' additions, most of which have been demolished. Offices continue early theme. 1681 panel. Of Leslies of Warthill; passed to Arbuthnot-Leslies.
