Activities

Project (February 2014 - July 2014)

A data upgrade project to record war memorials.

Archaeological Evaluation (June 2018)

NT 18858 75919 An evaluation was undertaken, June 2018, in advance of the construction of an artificial hockey pitch. The excavation of 11 trenches recorded two box drains heading in the direction of the school building. These were probably associated with the landscaping of the site during construction of the school and the playing fields. Two small ditches, probably associated with agricultural land use prior, to the building of the school, and potentially relating to the Cramond Regis (Barnton) House and Estate were also recorded.
