Archaeology Notes

NG77SE 7 7867 7311.

'Hut circle c.10m in diameter, stone walls; N part dug into rising ground; stone structures outside entrance and small pen constructed outside circle, opposite entrance.'

R Wentworth 1989.

This hut-circle was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey of An Torr, Badachro. It is as previously described, measuring 10m in diamter internally with an entrance on the ESE. There are small stone structures on either side of the entrance and a third on the NW of the hut-circle.
